On February 3, 2014, Duane Wiseman went to meet The Lord. Duane was born on May, 29, 1944 in Oakland California. Duane's mother was Conola Scoggins Wiseman, and his father was John Samuel Wiseman. Duane was a lifetime member of First Methodist of Mesa. The last few years of his life, Duane was often seen holding his cross that he wore around his neck, and praying. Duane and his wife, Amy Amelia Wiseman were married in Tahoe California on July 9, 1977. They were married for 39 years! Duane's interest were drag racing, sponsoring talent in BMX and Motocross. He also sponsored individuals in the NFL, all the way to the Super Bowl. Duane's love later in life was Harley Davidson motocycles, and all the friends, bike rides, and trips that it brought to his life. Duane was in business with Shell Oil for 25 years in Salinas, California, but always missed his home in Mesa Arizona. He returned with his family to AZ in 1992, where he decided to buy a car wash. His family still operates his business in Phoenix. Duane was predeceased in death by his father, John Samuel Wiseman in 1957. His mother, Conola Lamb in 2009, and his step father, John Lamb, in 2012. Duane is survived by his wife, Amy Wiseman, his son Ryan Duane Wiseman, His daughter Deni-Raquel Sheridan, from Mesa, Arizona. His daughter, Lissa Sheridan Shigo (Peter) are from Laguna Beach California. Duane is survived by 5 grandchildren. Cheyenne Dior Siqueiros of Mesa Arizona, Sheridan Taylor Shigo, Ireland Tru Shigo, Jack Thomas Shigo, Jett Elijah Shigo, from Laguna Beach California. Services will be held at Mariposa Gardens at 1pm on Saturday February 15, 2014 at 400 South Power Rd, Mesa, AZ. Duane was a very special man. He was humble, patient, kind and generous. He did not have one enemy, there is no words to express our loss. He will be so missed by his family and friends. We will meet him again one day. Your loving wife and family.
