Daniel "Danny" Joseph Chavez, age 83, of Mesa, Arizona passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2023. Danny was born in Trinchera, Colorado to Alex and Edelia Chavez. He graduated from Branson High School and went on to college receiving his bachelor's degree in engineering.
He was active in the military for 10 years ranking up from private to Crew Chief in the Army, CWO 4. Danny was an active member in the VA and VFW.
He was a Flight Line Inspector for Boeing Aircraft for 21 years following his time in the military.
Danny spent his free time as an active member in the Catholic church, hunting, fishing, camping, and golfing.
He had unwavering stability and was a wonderful caregiver and provider to his wife, Sharon, and his family. He instilled a sense of support in everyone he met and was also extremely instructive when needed.
Danny is survived by his spouse, Sharon Chavez; Sharon's children Vinson; Shawn; Shane; and Sherry Seder (Ed Seder); his sisters Theresa Sanders, Mary Edison, O'Phie Rammermeriz, Dora Rodriguez, Dena Archuleta, Patty Stewart, Cenida Galiardy, his brother Ben Chavez, Ralph Chavez, and Frankie Chavez; his grandchildren Darcella, Samantha, Myrah, Amber, and James; and 5 great grandchildren.
