I miss you.

The best Friend, the Best Sister, The best Daughter, The best Aunt...So many bests for such a beautiful spirit, whose life has touched so many.

I am so grateful I had such an inspiring, wise, and immensely talented best buddy to be such an important part of my life for so many years.

My love to the family! Shine bright and be the best part of the brightest shining star in the sky....You were when you were here.

I love you I love you QT Girl......Your absence leaves a huge void in my world only to be replaced by the memories of the love that we shared for so many girlie dates.

Well it's now been 2 months since Cheryl's transition. I miss her greatly. We shared 53 years together as sisters and we loved and cared deeply. I was blessed to have been given the opportunity to travel the many journeys of her life and death. She left this world a better place having been here. Although she endured much loss and pain she did it with courage and dignity. I admired her fortitude and perseverence and her strong desire to connect to those she loved . She was loyal and kind and always had an opinion. As sisters we had eachothers backs. We experienced the true meaning of till death do us part. Lovers may go but sisters are there for eachother till the end. In the last few months of her life my other sister Cindy gave up her life to share in Cheryl's journey to her new life. We all laughed and cried but in the end we provided strenghth and courage to eachother. I was blessed to know that kind of love and that kind of loyalty. My family all did their part to help Cheryl and to be there for her. Having a large family has a big upside when everyone is as giving as thew Maslonka's proved they are once again. We always looked out for one another and that legacy and family spirit will continue to be passed down to each generation.Until we meet again my dear sister.

you were my best friend, my favorite family member, my beautiful godmother, and my inspiration. looking at you and your life, pretty much sums up the kind of person i hope to become, the person i dream of one day being. you are laid back, you are beautiful, spontanious, lovable, and you never let anything stop you from wearing a smile! leaving, you took a peice of my heart with you and i keep a peice of you in my heart until we are reunited. i love you i miss you, and i carry your memory with me every second of my everyday! you are my everything <3

As youngsters Cheryl and I had a lot of fun at our grandparents farm.  She always had a great imagination When ever she saw us coming she'd holler there comes those city kids. We became more serious with age but she could always make me laugh. I can still hear that laugh of hers.
She designed and made a leather corvette belt and buckle with Dan's name on it. He will treasure it always.  She will be missed by all.

Aunt Cheryl.  A beautiful woman who taught, inspired, and supported the people around her. She was the aunt that everyone wanted to spend time with and showed her nieces and nephews how to live life to the fullest. I will always remember the times we spent exploring life together. 

I was supposed to come visit you in February, but missed my airplane from New York. Do you think was supposed to happen? Was I not supposed to see you before you passed? At first, I felt guilty for being late to the airport and missing my opportunity to say goodbye. As i reflect, I feel that it was supposed to happen like that. God made it so I missed the flight on purpose. God wanted me to remember you as the vivacious woman you were. 

So, I thank God for making me miss that flight because I want to remember the good times; the trip to LA, our adventure on Venice Beach, family gatherings when you were always the last person to arrive, horse back riding in Scottsdale, shopping at the mall, and college visits in Flagstaff. 

You have left a huge impact in my life and I thank you for that each and everyday. The lessons you have taught be about being a woman will be with me forever. I think and miss you everyday. I will be exploring life here on earth and please watch over me. I love you and I will be seeing you.

Sharon, Conrad and Family,

We are saddened to learn of Cheryl's passing. She was courageous throughout her ordeal and appreciative of the support that her family and friends provided her.

She's now with our Lord, in a good place and free of the pain she lived with over the past 3 years.

Please accept our condolences and this prayer as you cope with your loss:

The LORD lift up His countenance upon you,

Cheryl, my soul sister. Always a smile. I know the pain that burns inside your heart, but a smile for everyone nevertheless. Beautiful to the end you are an anomaly of nature! The sweetness of your nature always astounded me. I love you forever. I miss you to this day and am sorry that I did not call you, I intended to come and see you, I did not act fast enough.
