Barbara Elaine Gerhardt was born in Rockaway Beach, New York to German and Italian descent parents. Her parents moved to Arizona and she joined them in 1966.
She worked for the Telephone Company and transferred from New York. She retired after 32 years of service.
She met Michael Holly and they married in 1975. She belonged to several clubs, including the Red Hat Society, Easy Living (at Palmas Del Sol), and multiple crafting clubs. She was an active participant in many of them.
She is survived by a sister, Lucille Gentile, four nephews, one niece, and many great nephews and nieces.
A Memorial Service will be held at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Care, 6747 E Broadway Rd, Mesa, AZ 85206 on Friday, September 5 at 4 pm.
