Sally F. Johnson 93, of Mesa, AZ passed away on Mar. 27, 2012. Born Oct. 17, 1918 in Wentworth County, NC to the late Willie and Ella (Rutledge) Grogan. Sally is the last of nine children and they are having a wonderful family reunion with God in Heaven. Sally had been a clerk with Safeway grocery stores for over 25 yrs. in Washington. She is survived by her daughter Penny Johnson; 22 nieces and nephews and 2 sister in laws. Her devoted husband of 38 years, Arthur Johnson. 88, of Mesa, AZ passed away on August 17, 2011. He he survived by two sons & two daughters , Gloria of Pennsylvania, Glenn of Florida, Wrex and Wendy of West Virginia and 7 grandchildren. He was in business for himself owning a service station and auto parts business in Virginia. Both were active in the Sunland Village East Chapel from it's beginning. A memorial service will be held for both Fran and Art on Tues. Apr. 10, 2012 at 1:00 PM in the Mesa Verde room at Sunland Village East 2615 S. Farnsworth Dr. Mesa, AZ. Inurnment will be in Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park in Mesa, AZ. Family suggests memorial contributions to Sunshine Acres Childrens Home 3405 N. Higley Rd. Mesa, AZ. 85215
