Angela Stephanie Hernandez

She was born in Evergreen Park, Illinois on August 18, 1957 to Therese M. Richter and Gabriel Richter.

Angela graduated and received her Diploma from Little Company of Mary Hospital School in Nursing, as well as her Bachelor's Degree in nursing from Louis University. While working for Dr. Copeland, (a Cardiothoracic Surgeon) in Tucson, Arizona, Angela met the love of her life, Bobby. They were married on March 18, 2016.

One of her absolute passions in life, was to help and take care of people. Being a nurse was Angela's true calling. Majority of her career as a Registered Nurse was at the University Medical Center of Tucson and ended at Banner Health. She volunteered at Boyce Thompson Arboretum for several years. Her proudest professional moment was being a part of a team that travelled to Africa to administer medical care to the Masii Tribal people of Kenya. She also had a smile that would light up any room she walked into.

Angela had a love for nature, particularly, birds and flowers of all kinds. She loved reading, photography, cooking and baking, (which she was amazing at). She also enjoyed traveling around the world with her husband.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband; Bobby Hernandez, step-daughter, Kris Hernandez, mother; Therese M. Richter, siblings; Marie Leschyn, Kathy Richter, Edgar Richter, Barbara Richter, Andrea Tokar, Anthony Richter. She was preceded in death by her father; Gabriel Richter and her brother; Steven Richter.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Mariposa Gardens. 6747 E. Broadway Rd., Mesa, Arizona 85206.
