James Harrison Brady, 89 of Merritt Island, Florida went to be with the Lord on May 10, 2015 with his family by his side. He was born in Nashville, Tennessee to Homer and Rosie Brady. James was a Missile Inspector for General Dynamics for 30 years and during his time at the Kennedy Space Center, he helped launch over 600 missiles including the Mercury Program, Voyager Satellite’s and helped inspect tile insulation for the 1st Space Shuttle.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 61 years; Alice F. Brady; son, James H. Brady, who was KIA in Vietnam June 1970. Survivors include his son, David M. Brady; daughter-in-law, Lisa H. Brady and many nieces and nephews.
The family will be receiving friends, Friday May 22, 2015, 5 to 7 pm at Wylie Baxley Funeral Home, 1360 N. Courtenay Parkway, Merritt Island, FL. 32953, with Funeral Services being held Saturday, May 23, 2015, 2 pm also at Wylie Baxley Funeral Home, burial to follow at Florida Memorial Gardens.
