It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was born in Bathurst, New Brunswick on Dec 11, 1938 to Stella Pitre and Earnest Godin. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 yrs Rejeanne Godin and his seven girls: Pierrette (Ron), Jackie (Keith), Danielle, Andree Michelle, Leona (Rick) and Emily. He was predeceased by his son Joey.
He so loved all his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and will be sadly missed.
He was a funny guy that never, ever, exaggerated any stories... ever.. lol.

The family will hold a small memorial in remembrance of Gilbert at a later date.
