Frankie Robinson Brown

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 30th at 2pm in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home.

Rev. Gary Bickford will be officiating. Burial will follow in Meridian Memorial Park.

Mrs. Brown, born March 1, 1915 in Bonita, MS, to Frank and Mattie (Campbell) Robinson, was a longtime resident of Meridian, MS and resided in Alpharetta, GA for the last 7 years of her life.

Mrs. Brown enjoyed being a Sunday School teacher of different age groups over many years and was involved in various activities and ministries of the Foursquare Gospel Church where she was a member most of her life. She also appreciated her years of employment as a directory assistance operator with AT&T, retiring in 1980.

Mrs. Brown was loved by her care givers, the residents and managers at the assisted living facility that was her home for 3 years.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Joseph W. Brown, Sr. She is survived and will be missed by her children, Joseph W. Brown, Jr (Lynn) of Bastrop, TX; Thomas E. Brown of Lutz, FL; Robert W. Brown (Marie) of Anchorage, AK; Gerald L. Brown (Betty) of Laurel, MS; Carol Brown of Alpharetta, GA; and Hellen Pelikan (Ken) of Bath, ME. She was blessed to have 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
