Susan Hoyt

Susan Ann Hoyt was born to Winifred and Robert Pimentel on January 9, 1944 and passed away on July 5, 2016 at the age of 72 in Merced, California where she was a resident for 55 years. Susan was a loving wife, daughter and sister, she will be missed by many.

Susan worked as a Data Processor for Farmers Insurance, Chevron and Stanford Research Institute. She was also a teacher’s aide for 5 years at Charles Wright Elementary School.

Susan was a friend to all, anyone who met Susan could tell you of her kind nature. Her favorite hobby was to garden and her biggest joys were her animals. She loved her animals very much, including any stray that would come wondering to her door.

Susan is preceded in death by her Husband, Pat Hoyt; mother, Winifred Ross Wood-Pimentel; father, Robert William Pimentel; grandparents, Oreila Bradley and William Robert Wood

She is survived by her sister, Barbara Lynn Pimentel Fitzgerald of Merced, California; brothers-in-law, Michael (Betty) Hoyt and Ron (Shirley) Hoyt of Merced, California; niece, Amber Freitas of Arroyo Grande, California; nephew, Ethan Fitzgerald of Redman, Oregon along with many other nieces and nephews.
