Richard “Dick” Charles Lucas II passed away on October 28, 2015 at the age of 70. He was born in Merced, California, on July 1, 1945, where he remained as a life long resident. Dick was the son of Richard Patrick Lucas I and Doris Lucas.
Dick attended Merced High School where he graduated in 1963. Dick worked for Richwood Meat Company for over 30 years where he started as a butcher and then went into sales. Dick loved spending time with his wife and children, especially while boating or at the coast in their RV. Dick was an avid fisherman, car and motorcycle enthusiast, dog lover and loved taking his dogs Lukas & Leah on camping trips and to dog shows. Dick was very well known for having a good time and always being the life of the party.
Dick was preceded in death by his son, Damon Lucas; sister, Gail Aldrich & parents, Richard & Doris Lucas.
Dick is survived by his wife, Marlene of 31 years; brother-in-laws, Eddie Madera, Dale Madera, Richard Rosa & Frank Aldrich; sister-in-laws, Billye Madera, Karen Madera, Eva Rosa & Suzanne Aldrich; sons, Richard Lucas III, Daryl Lucas & David Fisher; daughters; Summer Waddell and Kristi Blake; daughter-in-laws, Trina Lucas and Marivic Fisher; son-in-laws, Kevin Blake and Phil “Koko” Leon-Guerrero; grandchildren, Tiffany Lucas, Brianna Lucas, Kimberly Lucas, Jonathan Lucas, Jessica Dornan, Renee Maselli, Jason Maselli, Vanessa Lambert, Warren Waddell, Skye Waddell, Ashley Blake, Noelle Blake & Melanie Blake; great grandchildren Dylan Maselli, Austin Maselli, Maddison Maselli, Logan Alger & Kenzie Lambert.
