Peggy Lynn Carter was born September 30, 1934 and passed away July 25, 2023 after a short illness with family by her side.
Peggy was born to Ollen and Lois Acree in Arkansas and moved to Merced, CA at a very young age. Peggy married her highschool sweetheart, Kenneth Carter. Together they had four children. Peggy was a self employed Realtor and was active with local non profits. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi out of Merced and was very strong in her faith.
Peggy is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Carter, parents Ollen and Lois Acree, daughter Joni Carter Hanley and granddaughter Ami Lynn Armstrong.
Peggy leaves behind daughter Susan Armstrong (Jim), son's Greg Carter (Gloria), Kevin Carter (Margaret), brothers Jerry Acree (Joan) and Eric Acree, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
