Larry Emilio Garcia

Larry Emilo Garcia, was born in Linwood, California on April 1, 1961 to Emilo and Magdalena Garcia. He grew up in Whitter, California, where he went to school and later owned a business with his father, Garcia Industries.

Larry moved up to Merced 13 years ago after he meet his wife Sheila at his family reunion in Planada, California. His first job was with D and D engineering in Turlock, Ca, then he worked at Sears for a short time. He later went to work for JM Construction. He loved his family and friends. Larry continued to have a lifelong friendship with most of his friends from grammar school. Larry loved to talk to people. He also enjoyed playing golf. He loved the Dodgers and the Rams no matter what anyone would say, he was true Blue.

He is preceded in Death by his father; Emilio Garcia, Grandparents, aunts and uncles.

Larry is survived by his wife; Sheila Garcia, daughter; Jessica Kettina of Long Beach, son; Larry Garcia Jr. of Whittier, stepchildren; Joseph Martinez of at Atwater, Leo (AKA Cha-Chi) Martinez of Reno and Anthony Miranda of Merced, mom; Magdalena Garcia of whittier, brother; Sam Garcia of Gaudualda Mexico, nephews; Nephifus Dominic, Nickois, and Jeremey all of Whittier, sisters; Julie Garcia of Whittier, grandchildren Alec, Alexis, Zoie and Mia Martinez, Marisa and Haley Martinez, numerous aunts and uncles.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Yosemite Church, 2230 E Yosemite Avenue, Merced, CA, 95340, with a pot luck reception immediately following service.

Larry will be greatly missed. Rest in Peace. My love, I will see you again.
