Lana Marie Wright

Lana was born January 12, 1961 in Merced. She attended local schools and graduated from Merced High School. She went on to study fashion design at Brooks College, and later earned a degree in accounting/bookkeeping. She was employed at Food Maxx.

On November 6, 1982, she married the love of her life, Gary Wright. Lana met and made many life-long friends. She loved spending time with her friends and family; she especially loved her three dogs. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and trying new recipes. She loved the Lord and enjoyed reading her Bible with her morning coffee. Her greatest love was her husband of 32 years. Lana was loved by many people and will be deeply missed.

Lana was preceded in death by her father, Louis B. Gonella; mother, Billie Jo Gonella; and brother, Rodney Gonella.

She is survived by her husband, Gary; mother-in-law, Joan; sisters, Donna Titus, Patsy Sorrels and Marianne Gonella; brother, Clint Titus; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, 1490 B Street Merced, California.
