Adan Flores Lucio Sr.

Dad passed peacefully with his children at his bedside February 20, 2017 in Merced, California. Adam was a lifelong resident of Merced. He worked for Atwater Canning Company for 48 years. Between those years the canary had many name changes, and he worked under each one. He was a member of Teamsters Local 853 and retire.

He was loved by many. He was a loving father and husband. He was known by his grandkids as the candy man, he would spoil his grandkids with candies. He always had candies to give to his grandkids when they would visit.

Adam leaves behind his wife of 63 years of marriage Maria G. Lucio. Adam has 7 sons, Adam Jr (Rosie), Benito, Valentino, David, Joe (Maria), Ruben (Nancy), and Frankie (Martina) as well as two daughters Maria Del Carmen Lucio and Maria Isabel (Ruben) Martinez.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Stratford Evans Reception Hall Located at 1490 B Street Merced, California 95341. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 27, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Apostolic Tabernacle UPC located at 2745 CA-140 Merced, California 95340 with interment to follow at Merced District Cemetery located at 1300 B Street Merced California 95341.
