Ted, Jane, Danny I am so sorry for your loss. 

A real man and a very caring one.  Hearty and hale.  Plenty of laughs and smiles.

I remember Sgt. Scholtz  when I used to help do the MPD mail years ago. I used to see him at Distr 5. Always very nice and pleasant to  talk to. God bless you Sgt . Enjoy Heaven!!

I will always remember Tommy as a kind and interesting fellow.  He helped be get back on the right path that leads to Heaven.  I know he is saving a spot for me.

Soldiers are another band of brothers, and in that world, Tom was my brother. Our family just finished our evening rosary... something Tom and I prayed together in Panama. It is with great sadness that I've learned of his passing. Dede, Becca- our prayers are with you. JSherman

My brother was a righteous man and will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know him.  The world is a lesser place without him and heaven is happy to have him.  Mom,  dad and Mary Ellen  were there to greet him, I'm sure.  Love always, Paula

No words to describe how surprised we were to hear this news.  We enjoyed every minute of every Sheepshead game we played with him.  Scholz family you have our sincere condolences.

To the Scholz family, please accept my deepest sympathy on the passing of Tom. I worked with Tom back in the early 70's. He was always great to work with. I remember way back then he would come to work after spending all day on the lake and then eat apples all night to stay awake. I was always proud to count him as one of my friends even though it has been years since I have seen him. RIP Tom.

Tommy was one of the best friends I ever had. We knew each other since Grade School. When I had cancer, he drove out to my home, halfway to Madison, every week, to visit and comfort me. The man is a Saint. We'll miss you greatly, Tom. God Bless.

I worked with Tom on the dayshift motorcycles...  He was a caring individual and looked after me.  He will be missed by many.

I worked with Tom at District  Four Late (late 60's, early 70's). Good cop to work with. Haven't seen Tom for quite a while, but he was mentioned many times when us "old gizzers" would get to talkin of our days on the job. RIP my friend.

Tom was my first side partner on "the wheel", as well as a brother Blue Knight.

My deepest sympathies to you Deana, and the entire Scholz family.  I worked with Tom for many years and he was one of the finest men and officers I ever knew.  Tom had a heart of gold, and I will always have fond memories of him.  I still have the wooden duck he carved for me.

Tom was a great guy to work with. Very funny and sincere, and a good cop. He will be missed by many.
