William Leroy Roberts

On June 30, 2024, William Leroy Roberts, 74, of Menifee, gained his angel wings. Margaret Appolonia Schroeder and Ohman Pershing Roberts welcomed William into the world on June 20, 1950, in Chicago, Illinois. William joined the Marines to serve his nation after attending St. Anthony's High School. He served in the Vietnam War. Following his military release, he began working at Sparkletts. He launched his own water company, Horizon Waters, his company ran for over 30 years. William first met Donna in San Diego in 1971. William and Donna went on to have three daughters Amy, Marybeth, and Emily. William retired in 2018 and focused on spending time with his family, woodworking, and watching the Little League World Series. His father Ohman, mother Margaret, brothers Robby and Jerry, and sister Judy all predeceased William. He leaves behind his wife Donna of 53 years, his daughters and their spouses, nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Mass will be held at 12:00 pm at St. Vincent Ferrer Church 27931 Murrieta Road, Sun City, CA 92586 on July 19, 2024 . Following the funeral mass will be a committal service from 1:45 PM to 2:15 PM at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, CA 92518.

Following the service there will be a Celebration of Life, stories to be shared amongst family and friends.
