William "Bill" Frederick Schneider

William “Bill” Schneider of Murrieta CA, passed away peacefully at home on September 19, 2023 at the age of 78. He was surrounded by family, including his fur babies Roxie and Honey Girl who were his little guardian angels through it all. Bill endured cancer with grace and strength until the end and never let up the pace of his quick witted and funny comments, keeping those around him smiling. He is survived by his wife Elaine (Catania), children Bill (Vicky) of Morgan, UT, Mike (Jennifer) of Laguna Niguel, CA, Richard of Anaheim, CA and 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Bill was born in Passaic, New Jersey to Frederick and Winifred Schneider and was the only son of 3 children. Bill received his Bachelor of Science degree from Wilmington College in 1967. He started his career journey with Ford that same year. This was paused when Bill joined the Army in 1969 and served in the Vietnam war as a Company Commander.

Bill met the love of his life Elaine on New Year’s Eve in 1976. The couple fell fast in love and married in 1977 and recently celebrated their 46th anniversary. The family made the big move to relocate to California where Bill continued his Engineering career with Toyota.

He will be missed beyond measure and will always be remembered by his hilarious one liners and the legacy he leaves behind.
