Norman Patterson Alexander III was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather who passed away on July 2, 2022, in Riverside, California. He married A. Anne Savell in 1958 who passed away in 1994. He married Patricia Vernoy in 1998. Norman is survived by his wife Patricia, brother Michael, his children, James and Mark, and grandchildren Kathleen, Austin, Tracy, and Eric. Norman was a Veteran of the US Navy. He graduated with a Mechanical Engineering degree from Long Beach State University and pursued a successful career in the Southern California Aerospace industry. He will be remembered for his wit, tender heart, and love of craftsmanship. He enjoyed supporting local collegiate sports teams and was an avid Dodgers fan. He was also active in his community association and served multiple times as a board member. Norman will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
