Mrs. Willie Mae Love departed this life on Friday, July 10, 2020. She was born to the late William LeSure and Mattie McCraken LeSure on February 11, 1936. Her husband, James Arthur Love; her grandson, Tony D. Cole, and son-in-law, Harold Jones, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Love was a resident of Hernando, Mississippi, until the time of her passing. She was a domestic engineer and an employee at the button factory for many years.
Mrs. Love accepted Christ at an early age at Liberty Missionary Baptist Church. She later joined Oak Hill Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a member of the choir and remained an active member until her health failed. Mrs. Love was also a member of the singing group, “The Zionettes”.
She loved her family, and her family loves her. On Friday, July 10, 2020, God sent His earthly angels a message as they watched over Mrs. Love that simply said, “Return to Sender”, and Mrs. Love returned home to glory.
Mrs. Willie Mae Love leaves to cherish her memory: her loving children, Willie Jean (Sherman) Cole of Memphis, Tennessee, Shirley (Wallace) Bullard of Memphis, Tennessee, Mary Jones of Memphis, Tennessee, James Love (Bessie) of Norcross, Georgia, and JoAnn Love of Hernando, Mississippi; her sister, Vernice Fluellen of Memphis, Tennessee; ten grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
