So sorry we were not able to attend Clif's funeral or visitation. Unfortunately, I was out of town when I read about his death in Friday August, 26th paper. I called mom (Floyce) that night and read her the obituary. Have fond memories of him taking us to school in that BIG Purple towncar or Lincoln (I think)!!  We plan to send a memorial to the Methodist Hospice. Take Care and call mom sometime she would love to hear from you. I am AB Henry, son of Dean Henry. Dean worked for Cliff several years ago and throughly enjoyed working for Cliff. My mother is now at the Bright Glade nurseying home, but we wanted to extend our thoughts and prayers to the family..... Cliff was very nice to my mother during those years working for Cliff and was a great friend indeed !!!

Hello Evelyn, Mary and Mike,
I'm so very sorry to hear about Walter. I wish I could have been there for the service. Thank you for your phone call Mary. I know how very hard it is right now, but I think of he and Mom (Ruth Weeks) sitting together catching up on what's been happening and talking about old times. I've heard many of their stories and would love to hear them again. Mom said that Walter taught her to dance and she truly loved to dance! They were such good friends (not just Aunt and Nephew), I miss their visits and them. Of course I have my own memories of times I've spent with Walter, so many wonderful times. Me stopping by the salon, watching him doing the ladies hair, him making them feel so beautiful, all his jokes, oh my! Great, great memories! There are also the family times, fish fry's, water skiing, watching football on New Years Day, all the great food and drinks, wow! So many wonderful times! I will never forget him and what's he meant to me. He was so very supportive to me at my fathers funeral, I will always be so thankful for his being there for me. Walter meant so much to me, I can only hope he knew how much. Take care of yourselves. My love to you all, Lettie Weeks

Raymond and I enjoyed a special friendship with Cliff & Evelyn the years they were our neighbors.  The trips to Tupelo, dinners at Fox Ridge and the chats in the afternoons.  When Raymond came home from the hospital, Cliff walked across the street to visit him.  It was very difficult, but he had to let Raymond know he cared.  Now maybe they are sitting in the sunshine, enjoying a good discussion, and keeping watch over us.  God Bless you, ease your sorrow and grief.
