Timothy "Tim" Craig Turner, age 52, went to be with his Lord on June 7, 2022 after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Tim, a native Memphian, had lived in Oxford, MS for many years. He graduated from Evangelical Christian School and obtained his college degree from Baylor University. He also received an MBA from the University of Memphis. During high school he was an Honorable Mention All-City linebacker for the ECS football team. After high school he walked on the Baylor football team. Although undersized for a linebacker, he made up for it with tenacity and heart. Tim was also a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity at Baylor.
Tim leaves his beloved daughter, Grace Turner of Phoenix AZ. He also leaves his father, C.O. Turner III, brother, Chuck Turner (Sherri), and sister, Melissa Turner House. He is also survived by nieces Megan House Wilson (Andy) and Rebecca Turner and nephews Gary and Jeff Turner and Patrick House. His precious mother, Barbara Turner and brother-in-law, Barry House, predeceased him.
Tim was the former EVP of Manufacturers Consolidation Service and then the Owner of Lifespec Cabinet Systems, Inc. in Oxford.
Tim was always the life of the party and had many friends all over the country. Everyone that knew Tim loved him, he was at his best ministering to others. Even with the burden of fighting his disease, he continued to have a very positive attitude and refused to give up. He loved his friends, his family, and his Baylor Bears!
Visitation will be Monday June 13th at 12:30, service to follow at 2:00 at Memphis Funeral Home – Poplar Chapel. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.
