Snowden Everett Harrell, 86, passed away October 5, 2021. He was a graduate of Bolton High School where he was an outstanding athlete in both baseball and basketball. Mr. Harrell was retired from Jones Truck Lines with 34 years of service. He was a devout Christian of Bartlett Woods Church of Christ and a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Glen L. Harrell and Marjorie Snowden Harrell and a sister, Glenda Graff.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Annell Harrell; sons, Sammy (Frankie) Harrell, Monty (Liz) Harrell, Chuck (Terrie) Harrell, Tim (Kristie) Harrell, Royce (Kim) Harrell; thirteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lana Beach, Sheri Butler; and two brothers, Gary Harrell and Joe Harrell.
Graveside services will be held Sunday October 10, 2021 at 3 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N Germantown Road, Bartlett, Tennessee 38133.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Mr. Harrell may be offered to the church or charity of the donor’s choice.
