Shirley W. Rhodes, 78 passed away August 27, 2014 at Baptist Hospital in Memphis, TN. She was a member of Kirby Woods Baptist Church and former member of Raleigh Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents Fentress and Stella Irwin West; a brother George Adam West, and by her husband, James R. “Dusty” Rhodes.
She is survived by daughter Michelle Rhodes (Richard) Whitley; son Richard Mark (Denise) Rhodes; grandchildren Caroline Whitley, Emmy Whitley and Jenni Needham.
The family will receive friends Friday, August 29, 2014 from 12 noon until service time at 2 p.m., all at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel. Interment will follow at Forest Hill East Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Kirby Woods Baptist Church, Memphis, TN
