Sherrye Harris Clark

Sherrye Harris Clark, 61, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 in Memphis surrounded by her family. She was born June 11, 1956 in Memphis to Red Dog and Jo Ann Harris. Sherrye was a 1974 graduate of Germantown High School and worked for years as a Neighborhood Coordinator for the City of Germantown where she never said "no" when something needed to be done. She married “Her Mike” (Mike Clark) in August of 2014 and cherished every second she shared with him. Sherrye is survived by her loving husband, parents, and three children (Erin, Meredith, and Tyler Wadlington), as well as her three “bonus kids” (Eddie Clark, Lisa Vegors, and Christy Campos) and their spouses, and eight “bonus grandkids.” Family and friends are invited to her visitation from 5:00-8:00 on Friday, February 9, 2018 at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38119. The funeral service will be at 2:00 on Saturday, February 10, 2018, at Central Church, 2005 Winchester Boulevard, Collierville, TN 38017. To best remember Sherrye’s giving and selfless spirit, the family requests that donations be made in her honor to help offset the upcoming adoption costs for Houston and Kristin Preuett in lieu of flowers.
