Sandra Dodd Vollmer

Sandra Dodd Vollmer, age 63, of Oakland, Tennessee entered the presence of the Lord on Sunday, August 22, 2021. Sandra was born December 17, 1957 in Memphis, Tennessee to Morris Glenn Dodd, Sr. and Jerrie Henley Dodd. She graduated from Wooddale High School.

She was a Certified Dental Assistant. Sandra attended the University of Memphis and Memphis Area Vocational Technical School. She retired from Veterans Affairs Medical Center Memphis.

She was a member of Redeemer Evangelical Church. Sandra was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Sandra is survived by her husband of 41 years, David Vollmer; sons, Jeffrey Vollmer (Kelly) and A.J. Vollmer (Shannon); grandchildren, Emma Jane Vollmer and Hannah Vollmer. She is also survived by her father, Morris Glenn Dodd, Sr. (Liz); sisters, Diann Dodd Belote (Michael) and Kelly Dodd Crawford (Chip); and brother, Morris Glenn Dodd, Jr. (Marianne). Sandra was preceded in death by her mother, Jerrie Henley Dodd.

Sandra's service has been set for Saturday, October 2nd, at 2:00 p.m. at Redeemer Evangelical Church, 3100 S. Houston Levee Rd., Germantown, TN 38139.
