Pauline "Polly" Contini Ringer Wagner, 94, of Germantown, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2022. She was born November 19, 1927 in Memphis, Tennessee, the daughter of proud Italian immigrants, Fred and Annie Contini. Polly attended St. Phillips Episcopal Church in Lakeland but in recent years she attended church at home watching Central Church and Highpoint Church services online. She bowled until she was 90 years old and was a member of the Sexy Seniors and Oldies But Goodies Bowling Leagues. Polly worked at Sears in the credit department and retired from Goldsmith where she oversaw the Bridal Registry.
She loved spending time with her family who already miss her dearly.
She is survived by her three daughters, Susan Droke (Stan), Anne Clay (Tim) and Kathy Rhodes; a step-daughter, Deborah Tobey; eight grandchildren, Tim Clay (Allison), B. J. Clay (Whitney), Andy Droke (Jamie), Brad Droke (Caroline), Jessica Clay Kupiszewski (Alex), Bailey Rhodes, Natalie Rhodes, and Ash Rhodes; and seven great-grandchildren, Caleb, Carleigh, Henry, Emma Grace, Mina, Charlie, and Zoey.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dan Wagner, parents, seven siblings, and great-granddaughter.
The family will have a private graveside service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be directed to Kingdom Community Builders, a local ministry serving the Orange Mound community.
