Patsy C. Bonner

Patsy Ruth Coleman Bonner was born on October 7, 1948, to the union of Carvell Coleman Sr. and Leola Coleman of Memphis, Tennessee.

On October 4, 2024, Patsy fell asleep in death at Baptist East Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, just shy of turning 76 years old. She was surrounded by her loving children, family and close friends.

Patsy married Michael Bush Bonner Sr. on June 14, 1975, and together they built a loving home filled with devotion to Jehovah and their family. Through their union, three children were born: Patreace Ledora Bonner, Sherry Jenai Bonner and Michael Bush Bonner Jr. Patsy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Michael, and her eldest daughter, Patreace.

To cherish her precious memory, Patsy leaves behind her loving children: Sherry Jenai Bonner and Michael Bush (Renicia) Bonner Jr., all of Memphis, Tennessee. Patsy’s granddaughter, Shayla Michelle Bonner, was the light of her life, bringing her immense joy and pride.

Patsy’s love and care for her family extended beyond her children and her grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carvell Coleman Jr. and Leola Coleman, and her brother Thomas Earl Coleman Sr. She leaves to cherish her memory, seven brothers and sisters: Carvell (Stephanie) Coleman Jr. of Peoria, AZ; Rita (White) Oglesby of Monee, IL; Joyce (Nathaniel) Rose, Larry Coleman, all of Memphis, TN; Doris Madlock, Phyllis (Calvin) Higgins, Roy (Stephanie) Coleman, all of Cordova, TN.  She also leaves one aunt, as well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and her extended family in Jehovah’s organization. 

Patsy’s kind heart, wisdom, and dedication to Jehovah touched the lives of many. She leaves a legacy of love, strength, and faithfulness that will endure forever in the hearts of those who knew her.
