Marian Jones Baughman, 90, of Memphis, passed away January 11, 2012 at Kirby Pines. She was a longtime member of Germantown United Methodist Church, active in the United Methodist Women and the Gilbert Sunday School Class. She also was a graduate of the University of Memphis with a degree in English. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Glenn Baughman. Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Kay Baughman; two sons, Claude Gerald (Charleyn) Baughman and James Michael Baughman; and three grandchildren, Jolene Thomson, Jessica Baughman, and Bradley Baughman. The family will receive friends Monday from 12:00 until 2:00 at Germantown United Methodist Church, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in National Cemetery.
