Linda B. Sturdivant

Linda Bittner Sturdivant, 60 passed away November 09, 2014 at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, TN surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was a communicant of the Catholic Church of the Incarnaton in Collierville. She held different jobs throughout her life but the one most important to her was the one of wife, mother and Nana.

She was lead to her heavenly home by her parents, Norman James Bittner and Evelyn Smith Bittner.

She is survived by her wonderful husband of 43 years, Ronnie Sturdivant; by two dauhters, Cameron (Lee) Benton and Amy (Clay) Goo; son, Jay (Tracy) Sturdivant; grandchildren, Mckena, Keaton, and Gunner; two sisters, Judy Frascogna and Anita Bitters; four brothers, Jimmy Bittner, Larry Bittner, Bobby Bittner and Ricky Bittner; one brother-in-law and three sister-in-laws, 14 nieces and nephews and sixteen great-nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind two dogs who she loved dearly and 9 grand-dogs.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 12, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 all at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar in our Celebration of Life Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Mrs. Sturdivant’s honor.
