Kennon “Elise” Beasley, 94, of Memphis passed away February 8, 2014. She was a member of Buntyn Presbyterian Church and a member of Les Passees. Elise is survived by her husband, John Baptist Beasley, Jr.; son, Joseph Beasley (Anne); grandchildren, Donnie, Jason, Michael and great- grandchildren, Olivia and Ian. Elise was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Everett and Laurie Terry and her sister, Lois Newton. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 11 from 5-7 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home on Poplar Ave. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 12 at 10 a.m. at Buntyn Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. Flowers are welcome but memorials to Buntyn Presbyterian Church are appreciated.
