Joshua Taylor Buchanan

Joshua spent most of his life in Midtown, Memphis. From Overton Park to youth group, he was always skateboarding or riding bikes somewhere with his friends. He loved being a bartender and making people happy. He was always the life of the party. He has spent his last few years helping run the family auto business. He was growing as a man, learning something new everyday. His energy was unmatchable and he made everything fun.

Joshua is survived by his parents, Father and stepmother, John and Kim Buchanan; his Mother and stepfather, Kim Tomporowski and Alvin Taylor; his grandparents; Juanita and Steve Makris and Phyllis Tracy; his love, Megan Laxton and his siblings; Ashley, Shelbi, Bradley, Brianna, and Beau; many aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Rayford T. Tracy; his uncle Jeffrey, and his cousin Jeremy.

A visitation for Joshua will be held Friday, February 26, 2021 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM with services to follow at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee. The interment for Joshua will be held at Morrison Cemetery, Tipton County, Brighton, Tennessee 38011.
