Joe Edward Emrich

Joe is survived by his wife, Lurline Chapman Emrich; three daughters, Nancy Harvey, Judith Conner and Carolyn Wilson (Keith) and one son, Randy Chapman (Lisa) and two sisters, Anita Stallings and Elise Hetsel. Joe’s joy was watching his grandchildren flourish – Julie Hawks (Jeff), Zachary Harvey (Mia), Corey Rudolph (Amanda), Jacob Chapman, Bradley Conner (Jessica), Caleb Chapman, Luke Chapman and Katie Conner (fiancé, Parker). The twinkle in his eye was his great grandchildren – Bailey Bynum, Griffin Hawks, Kennedy Chapman, Abbie Hawks, Elijah Harvey, Jeremiah Rudolph, Loxley Joe Rudolph, Harrison Harvey, Blakely Rudolph and Thomas Conner.

Joe was a proud 1960 high school graduate of Olive Branch High School (MS). He retired from the TN Air National Guard after 42 years. He was a member of Elliston Baptist Church. Over the years, Joe was a very active member in Oakville Lodge and the Scottish Rite.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, November 12, 2020 from 10AM until 11AM, with the Homegoing Service starting at 11:00 AM, Family Funeral Care 4925 Summer Avenue, Memphis, TN 38122. Burial will follow at Byhalia Cemetery, Byhalia, MS.
