Jo Ann Kathryn Rhue passed away at Baptist Hospital at the age of 82 on May 5th 2024 with her family and friends by her side. Jo Ann is survived by her sister, Peggy Cleveland, two nephews, five great nephews, one great-great nephew, three great nieces and several cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Harper and Norma Riggs, her husband, Phillip Rhue, son, Phillip Eric Rhue and sister Mary Caruso.
She was born October 24th 1941 in Memphis, TN. She graduated from Memphis Tech High School. Jo Ann started her career with Sears and Robuck and later moved on to Ducks Unlimited, where she retired. She enjoyed her work and made many lifelong friends along the way.
Jo Ann loved God, her church and all of her family and friends. She also loved her animals, Lacy and Titus her two loving dogs whom were always by her side until the end.
“Buddy” the dog of her life, she loved him so very much, he was the family dog and he adored her. Buddy was her life after losing her husband and her son, he was the dog of a lifetime for her.
