I remember him as a very warm-hearted, handsome, and always upbeat student on Rhodes’ campus. My heart goes out to the family and my prayer is for your peace in reuniting with him again in due  time.  

Gone too soon. Resting comfortably in the arms of Jesus. Worked with Jeff for a few years. He pushed me to be a better driver. Proud to know Jeff

I’m shocked and saddened to hear of Jeff’s untimely passing. He was so full of life and never failed to make us laugh at work. Sending love, hugs & positive vibes to his family & his mother especially💔🙏🏼

I will always cherish the long friendship,  business relationship, and many memories of Jeff.  I admire the loyalty and care in which he looked out for his parents. 

I will miss his energetic, upbeat, attitude whenever we would meet or talk.  I could always count on Jeff for a good laugh. He had an art for taking lemons and turning them into lemonade!

We shared many good times together years ago and I still laugh at some of the stories we shared together.  
His glass was "half-full" was a perfect way to describe his outlook at most every situation.

To Jeff’s mother and family,

I was devastated to hear of Jeff’s passing today.  Frankly, I still cannot belief it, as I had just spoken with Jeff earlier this week.

I worked with Jeff closely over the years. Not only was Jeff a good businessman and a financial genius, he was a dear friend, who often offered words of encouragement and kindness after my wife passed away last year. Jeff could always lighten up my day and make me laugh with his great stories about his young adulthood and adventures in life. He will be missed greatly.

I pray, Mrs. Phillips, that the peace and presence of God will surround and comfort you, that your Heavenly Father will hold you closely in the palm of His hand, at this most trying and difficult of times.  I know how much Jeff cherished and loved you, as he spoke often of you.
