Frederick William "Fred" Rush, II

Frederick William "Fred" Rush, II, of Collierville, TN died on February 26, 2015, he was 73. Born in Chicago, IL, Fred was a Vietnam Veteran of the U.S. Air Force, member of Central Church, a man who loved to fish and play golf but not near as much as he loved his grandchildren. His working career included retiring from Nabisco after 33 years, and co-owner with his son, Fred III, of Rush Technologies. The family will receive guests for sharing stories, memories and refreshments from 11AM until funeral services begin at 1PM on Saturday, March 7 all at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN. Air Force Honors will be rendered at the conclusion of chapel services. Private burial services were held on March 11, at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. Fred was preceded in death by his parents and first wife Lola Rush. He is survived by his wife of 15 years Jo Beth Rush; sons Frederick Wm. Rush, III (Lisa) of Dallas, TX, Tony Wallace (Jennifer) of Sheridan, AR, and Chuck Wallace (Kelli) of Piperton, TN; brother Richard Rush (Kris) of Edmond, OK; grandchildren Trent & Danielle Rush, Bethany Wallace, Jessica Threet, and Haylie, Henslie & Hollie Wallace; and great-granddaughter Tinley.
