Libby went to be with our savior September 25, 2024, following a brief stay at Baptist Reynolds Hospice House in Collierville, TN.
Libby was born in Cape Girardeau, MO on March 3, 1942, to Loyd Kelley and Imogene Wyatt Kelley. The family moved to Memphis, TN in the late 1950s.
Libby loved to reminisce and spoke fondly of her time employed at Sears Crosstown in the 1960s, Shelby County Clerk’s office in the 1970s-1980s and Allied Systems/Motor Convoy from which she retired.
Libby loved her family and friends dearly and her favorite pastime was talking on the telephone to keep in touch often, if not daily. Most will remember Libby for her dry sense of humor and contagious laugh as well as her giving heart.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John McCrum, and her siblings David Kelley, Joan Puckett and Sharon Kelley.
She is survived by her son Trent Daniel (Caron), daughter Ellen Daniel and 5 Grandchildren, ‘MeMe’s Angels’, (Michelle Daniel, Trent Daniel, Jason Daniel (Haley), Elizabeth Daniel and Trey Daniel; 6 Great Grandchildren (Colton, Lola, Brooks, Skylar, Aubrie and Warren) along with cousins, nieces, nephews, dear friends and her ‘best buddy’ Brutus.
A graveside service for Elizabeth "Libby" will be held Tuesday, October 1, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 3700 N Germantown Pkwy, Bartlett, TN 38133.
