Dorothy Hollomon Pace

Dorothy Hollomon Pace, 87, died peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on June 21 2013. Mrs. Pace was born to the late Herring B. and Bonnie Branch Hollomon on March 28, 1926 in Memphis, TN. where she lived the majority of her life. She met and married the love of her life, the late John Richard Pace, Sr. and enjoyed 49 years and one month with him. She was preceded in death by two of her children, John Richard Pace Jr. and James Barry Pace. She leaves to cherish her memories, Judy Pace Stone (Bill), Charles David Pace (Susan) and daughter-in-law Joann Adams Pace. Four Grandchildren, Matthew Barrett Stone (Lori), Amanda Pace Osborn (David), James David Pace, John William Pace, and Jennifer Adams Deffendall (Mike) and four Great-Grandchildren, Kaleb Matthew Stone, Jacob Wallace Stone, Jackson Barrett Stone, and McKinley Gail Osborn, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Pace was a member of Ellendale Church of Christ . She retired as a teller from First American Bank in 1988. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 26, 2013, from 5 to 8 p.m. and services Thursday, June 27, 2013 at 2 p.m., both at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation to Paragould Children’s Home, 5515 Walcott Rd.
