Constance “Connie” Ann Johnson, 68 passed away December 21, 2014 at Methodist Germantown Hospital. She was born in Menomie, MI to Byron James Place and Elaine Wettstein Place on May 25, 1946. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic High School, Memphis State University and was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Association for Preservation of Tennessee Antiquities (APTA).
She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 49 years Stanley T. Johnson; daughter Laura M. (Steve) Chalfant of Houston, TX; son, Phillip M. (Mindy) Johnson of Colorado; a brother Richard J. (Susan) Place of Carmel, IN; and five grand-children.
The family will receive friends Friday, December 26, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38119. A funeral mass will be held Saturday, December 27 at 9 a.m. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 28 East Peebles Road, Memphis TN 38109. Graveside services will be Monday, December 29, 10 a.m. at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
