Christopher was born July 7, 1979, and passed away April 11, 2022, at the age of 42 in Memphis, Tennessee.
Christopher is survived by his parents; Barry and Debra Beard; his sons, Hayden Beard and Colby Nicholson; his sister, Loren (William) Craddock; brother, David (Caroline) Beard; his nieces and nephew, Mary Hannah Craddock, Bailee Beard, Easton Beard and his grandmother Willadean Beard. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles Beard, as well as Herbert and Sarah Perkins.
Christopher attended White Station and Bolton High School. In 2001, he began working as a utilities contractor at Meadows Construction Company II with his father. His most prized accomplishments in life was his loving son, Hayden, as well as his career with Meadows Construction.
Christopher was a devoted father, son, brother, uncle, and friend to many. His giving heart and spirit was evident to all. He helped anyone in need, gave to others unconditionally, and lit up a room with his one of a kind personality. Memories of being together as a family, with Christopher, will remain our most cherished moments. Our “Bubba” will forever and always be deeply missed.
Visitation is scheduled Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave., Memphis, Tennessee 38122. In lieu of flowers, donations in Christopher’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
