Carylon Ann Mansfield, age 77, of Memphis, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2022. Carylon was born in Truman, AR on January 8, 1945. She was married to the love of her life until 2006, the late Raymond H. Mansfield, Jr. She was also preceded in death by her son, Raymond H. Mansfield III and her two sisters.
Carylon spent most of her life in Memphis, TN. She worked at South Park School for 20 years as a teacher's assistant She loved working with children. Carylon had three children, Connie Gamble, Deborah Mansfield and Raymond H. Mansfield III. Her final words were: "Cling to your families and hold them dear. They and the Lord are the ones you need most in your life."
She leaves to cherish her memory her two daughters, Connie and Deborah; two granddaughters, Kristy Pittman and Kimberly Simpson; four great grandchildren, Lexie, Morgan, Elijah, and Eden McCown; one sister and one brother.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 20, 2022 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM with services to follow at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave, Memphis, TN 38122.
