Bobbie Ann Marciszewski

Bobbie Ann Marciszewski nee Griffin of Memphis passed away Thursday, January 11, 2024. Bobbie was born September 26, 1936 in Tipton County, TN to the late David and Hazella (Cody) Griffin. When she was young her family moved to Memphis, where she attended Humes High School with Elvis, who she often described as a bit of a jerk. In 1954 she married the love of her life, the late Peter “Ski” Marciszewski and travelled the world with him in the Navy before settling back in Memphis with their two daughters, Pamella and Paula. Bobbie spent her life caring for her family, making sure she was there for every pageant, play and ceremony of her daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters, Pamella (Dennis) Ellis of Horseshoe Lake, AR and Paula (Steven) Neal of Maryville, TN and their families, including five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Services will be held at Family Funeral Care in Memphis and she will be laid to rest along side her husband at the West Tennessee Veteran’s cemetery.
