Barbara Jean Rucker, age 78, of Memphis, passed away on the morning of Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at Methodist North Hospital. Barbara was born on April 10, 1944, to the late Harold Rucker and Emogene Faulkner. She was a retired administrative assistant at Buckeye Technologies.
She was known for her incredibly sweet and loving spirit and her boundless selflessness. She loved showing immense gratitude for even the smallest things, decorating and family photos, going for walks, her family, and her adored pet, Hazel.
She is survived by one granddaughter, Abby Elizabeth Rose, one brother, Rusty Rucker, and one nephew, Daniel Rucker.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Sharon Rucker Smith, and her beloved daughter, Edith Rucker Jenkins. Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
