Mr. Antonio Dwayne Johnson was born on January 18, 1961 to Thomas Walker Johnson and the late Doretha Davis. He went home to be with the Lord on June 19, 2022. Antonio accepted Christ at an early age and re-affirmed his faith in 2009. He was a proud graduate of Melrose High School where he was a star athlete, playing football for the Melrose Golden Wildcats. He went on to attend and also play football for Mississippi Valley State University.
Antonio was joined in holy matrimony to Ollie Pittman Johnson on May 16, 1995. This union included two children, son, Deven Coleman, and daughter, Chelsey Johnson. He had a 38 year career with Federal Express and retired from his job as Courier with them in 2017 Antonio’s favorite place to be was at home around his wife and family. He was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and enjoyed family cookouts, especially at home, where he was the master griller.
He will be dearly missed by his loved ones and was blessed with and survived by his devoted father, 4 cousins he loved as sisters and brother, a biological sister and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and devoted and awesome friends. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 27 years, two children, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
