Annie Pearl Day, age 97, passed away on November 12, 2018. She was born on August 14, 1921 in Mason Hall Tennessee. She lived in the Millington Rosemark area. She married the love of her life, Clyde W. Day, Jr. on November 13, 1940 and they had one son, Clyde W. Day, III (Sonny). Sonny married Linda Cox Day and they were married for 51 years with three sons, Donald, Ronald, and Michael. Ann worked for General Electric for 34 years. She was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church and loved her church family very much. She was preceded in death by her husband, her son, and her grandson Donald. She has four great grandchildren, Cassie, Kyle, Brandon, and Stormey, and two great great-grandchildren Caylee and Eli. In addition, she is grieved by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and lots of friends that will all miss her sweet spirit very much. The family will receive friends Saturday November 17th at 10:00 a.m. at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis 38119, with funeral services to follow at 11:00, interment will follow at Memphis Memory Gardens, 6444 Raleigh LaGrange Road, Memphis. Memorials in honor of Mrs. Day may be offered to the charity of the donor’s choice.
