Anna Blee Parker

On Thursday April 8, 2023 Anna Parker passed away at 82 years of age, after a long illness. Anna was born in Boynton, Oklahoma on February 2, 1941 to Albert and Mary Nichols. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gene Parker in 2007 and her daughter Dora Parker in 1965. She is survived by her children Fred Parker of Castle Rock, Colorado, Theodore Parker of Yuma, Arizona, Lana Parker of Alabama along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was also an integral part of several successful business ventures she and Gene Parker founded and ran until his death. Anna and Gene were long time residents of Meeker. They also toured several countries including China, Japan, Europe and Mexico. After living in many locations across the United States, they fell in love with their forever home in Meeker, Colorado in 1985. She will be interred at the Meeker Cemetery next to her beloved husband, Gene. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 28, 2023, at The Church at Meeker. A viewing for family and friends will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will take place at Highland Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation or the Kidney Foundation if desired.
