Frank Donald Villa, 86, of Medford, Oregon, passed away October 30, 2017 at home, surrounded by his loving family. Frank was born in San Luis Obispo, California to Frank Augustus and Florentina (Elsie Calderon) Villa. Frank served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1951-1952 during the Korean Conflict. He worked on original underground missile construction at Vandenberg Air Force Base and the Naval Missile Range at Point Arguello for 10 years. Frank retired from the U.S. forest service after 24 years in Butte Falls, Oregon. Frank enjoyed bowling, gardening, wood crafts, hunting and traveling; he truly loved deep sea fishing and being the captain of the Ob La Di. He was a lifetime member of the Eagles Club where he met the love of his life Dorothy in 1969, it was love at first sight. Frank is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Dorothy (Talley) Villa; children, Charles Eilenberger, of Central Point, Donald Villa, of Salem, Steven Villa, of White City; daughters, Jean Reynolds of Albany, Joan Grimes of Shady Cove. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 5 great- great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kay Middlebusher, 6 brothers and 3 sisters.
