1937-2023
Carl was born May 23rd, 1937 in Corvallis, Oregon. He joined the Navy at the age of 17 acquiring his GED. He then went on to serve 4 years in the Navy aboard the destroyer, USS Lofberg. After serving honorably, Carl was discharged in May of 1958.
In 1960, he went to work for American Linen Supply Company, known today as ALSCO. During his 30 years with the company, Carl worked in Roseburg, Portland, and Medford, Oregon, with Los Angeles, California as his final assignment where he was the manager of a large industrial plant.
He later returned to Medford, Oregon with his wife, Jane, where he then began his own company, Pride Industrial Laundry and Janitorial Supply Store. In 2002 Carl sold his company to the supply chain Cintas.
Carl and his wife Jane, celebrated 50 years of marriage on February 3rd. He is survived by son Fred, daughter Deanna, Brad and Susan, as well as his five grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
Carl loved the outdoors, camping, hunting and fishing with his family and friends. His pride and joy was his 1927 Model T Coupe Street Rod. He also spent many happy hours with his good buddy, Don Coghill, playing with cars.
