Alvin received his formative years of education in the Newark Public School System.
Alvin honorably served in the United States Army and a list of civil service jobs.
Alvin leaves to cherish his memories his siblings Sherise “Cookie” Norman (Zack) of Newark, NJ, Umar “Tony” Ali of Harrisburg, PA, Craig Norman of Orlando FL, Najiyyah “Nikki” Mahdi (Keisha) of Orlando, FL, Majette Family; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives, and friends.
