Ronald Wayne Hamlett

Ronald Wayne Hamlett, age 78, of Mechanicsville, Virginia passed away on Friday, August 18, 2023. He had interests in Hot Rods, car racing, going to the movies and spending time with his family and friends. He graduated from VCU with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, worked for Phillip Morris as a CPA and served in the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by his devoted brother William Twelvetrees Hamlett; nieces and nephew; Cynthia (Todd) Hamlett Briley, Susan (Chris) Hamlett Spruill and John (Courtney) Twelvetrees Hamlett; great niece and nephews; Emma Grace Briley, James Hampton Briley, Elijah Ransom Spruill, Coley Alexander Spruill, Zane Twelvetrees Hamlett and Grady Boland Hamlett. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion Mason Hamlett and William Coleman Hamlett. Ronald cherished his nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews never forgetting a birthday, always excited to hear what was going on in their lives. He will be deeply missed by his family. A memorial service for Ronald will be held Saturday, August 26, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Woody Funeral Home-Atlee Chapel, 9271 Shady Grove Road, Mechanicsville, VA 23116.
